The ‘hair’ is made from hundreds of Micro SD Cards, the kind that is used in mobile phones worldwide and is expensive to buy individually. I sourced them as with many mass-produced digital items, from a manufacturer based out of China. Printed using pigment inks on Hahnemuehle Photo Rag (308gsm) a heavyweight fine art fade-resistant paper.
